Anyone anticipating the release of Coralife's new LED Biocube 16 & 32? According to Coralife they are expected to be available "any day now" (as of Aug. 2nd).

I have a Biocube 29 and am waiting to see what the price is on the LED 32 hood. It will fit on the existing Biocube 29 with no modifications. LED's, integrated 24-hour timer with three independent channels and only one quiet fan. Seems like a perfect replacement (depending on cost) for my noisy CFL lid where every replacement bulb I have tried is a different size.

I'd bet the farm that it won't be worth it. The replacement hood will likely be over half the cost of the the entire setup if it's even available.

True but it should be a simple plug-and-play swap. Wouldn't have to gut or chop my existing hood with a retrofit like RapidLED or Steve's LEDs.

Anyone had the coralife original lights (CP) and swapped for the new LED hood? Curious about the comparison. Just coralife stock CP or stock LED.
