Hey everyone!
My neighbor found the light for my 72g bowfront. The light isnt in the greatest of shape and needs some very much needed TLC. It has the power compact bulbs with the four prongs at the ends. Three of the four bulbs are out and two of four blue LED's are out.

From what i hear this type of bulb and system is older and its hard to find bulbs. Should i get something new?
You're thoughts?

Well, im being told that they stopped making these bulbs so they are hard to find.can anyone confirm this?

I ran something very similar on my 72 bow for a few months until the wires melted on the inside and it blew a ballast. Replaced with cheap $200 LED... anyway, my LFS stocks the bulbs regularly for 10k and actinic. You can find them online for around $25-35. They're 21" 65w.

Bulb Part Numbers
10k: 54065
Actinic: 54085

Not sure if they stopped making the bulbs yet or not but they're expensive and should be changed every 6-8 months iirc which gets spendy. You're better off getting a different fixture or using this one to start.
