What is everyone’s thoughts on this salt mix? I ask because i can pick it up locally and for a really good price.

It's fine to use. From what I remember, alk is around 9 and calcium is 500 or a bit more. Plenty of hobbyists have used it for years and years.

Truthfully, there are extremely few "bad salt" mixes out there. People have individual preferences, but if you're selecting any of the say, top 10 or 20 most common salt mixes, you can have a successful reef. Salt companies have spent a lot of money convincing you their product is the only way to outperform the other guy ;)

I use it and coral are happy and healthy. The current batch I have mixes at 8.4 dKh at 1.024 salinity. It mixes well.

Cool. I can get the big buckets locally for cheap so I am gonna do that. Thanks
