Coralife super skimmer 65

I have a 45 gallon FOWLR with a Coralife super skimmer 65 that is filling the tank with microbubbles I was wondering if there is any way to stop this from happening

Can you give us any pictures of the sump ? I have the larger version of this skimmer but it runs through 2 more bubble traps and a large refegium

I do not have a sump i am using it as a hang on back

I wonder if there is any way to put a sponge on the output of your skimmer ?

Is it new? It may take several weeks to fully break in and stop spitting out bubbles.
