Anyone have experience with the Coralife t5 2 bulb unit? I need it to supplement my 2 Kessil 360WE's over my 90. Are you happy with the bulbs? I hear you can only use Coralife bulbs with their units.

Thanks!

Any T5 bulb can be used as long as it's the same wattage as what your replacing.

I believe you can put other manufacturers bulbs in their fixture, someone correct me if wrong please. I'd look into geismann or ATI bulbs for supplementation to your kessils.

39w out, 39w in. 24w out, 24w in. Etc.......Should make no difference.

Not me. There used to be long debates on reflectors on t5 fixtures years ago. You don't really see much about that now.

If I where you, given that your application of this is to supplement LED's, wouldn't worry about it. Use it as you intend and see what the results are.

More important would be par over what your keeping. Most corals will do well at 200-300 par, depending on placement.

Good call. Will do. That reminds me that I do need to check my par levels. Sorry for the late response!
