So Petco has Coralife bulbs (48") for $11 and some change. I need to get 5 or so bulbs, and I'd rather spend less, like any logical human- but still get results. I mean Kelvin is Kelvin, right? I've been running LEDS the last few years, but am going with a 6 bulb sunblaze this round, and will be adding some LED strips in the future.

I was wondering if there was anyone with recent experience- having used BOTH types of bulbs. I obviously know ATI has a broader range of bulbs. I was thinking of getting one ATI purple plus, then 4 actinic Coralife's, and possible running a regular 10000k or 6500k that I already have, to get the other colors to pop.

Any input would be appreciated, any GOOD deals on BULBS would be appreciated, and of course pics are always welcome. Show me your combos and tell me what bulbs you are using!! Thanks in advance!

I'm a big fan of ATI purple plus and blue plus, other than that I've used Coralife bulbs and liked them just as well. I like the Coralife actinic better than the ATIs. The Coralife 10000k or 6500k bulb is as good as any in that color range.

I figured as much. I don't see why I shouldn't get Coralife bulbs if and when they do the same thing. Especially when they are half the price. Thanks for that input.
