So my tank is about a year old with fish and about 7 months with soft corals and a cheap led light. About 2 months ago I did a major upgrade and bought great powerful led lights a huge sump and protein skimmer. So here's the thing, when I had the cheaper light all my coraline was mostly green but now that my new lights are on the green is dying and the purple is taking over is this normal or is somthing wrong

My personal observation is that purple coralline grows under higher light than other coraline. Other colors such as red and green tend to do best under lower light. So this sounds normal to me
