coralin questio

so I bought a four pound live rock that was covered completely with a nice dark purple coralline/within in a week most of it has turned green.its not slimy and I cant remove it from the rock.i actually like it.just wondering if anybody knows why this might of happen.i believe its definitely green coralline.also I have these red chunks of what appear to be a coral rock type of flower poppin up out of the rock.thanks much

In most cases with new rock you'll see it turn green before read so that's normal. As for it turning purple to green that may be due to the fact that you added it to a new tank. Over time it'll go back to purple. That I wouldn't worry too much about. How new is the system you put it in?

Yea I have purple in my fuge all over, but in my dt it all turned green. Was actually wondering why as well)
