Coraline Algae In A Bottle

Anyone used the Purple Helix Coraline in a bottle?
What were the results.
I am wanting to get good growth on my rock before adding my corals.

To be honest, I think you'd have better luck getting a piece or two of healthy, coraline covered live rock from another tank/store/wherever to seed your tank.

Thought about buying it as well as many of the other new reefers. started with dry rock and all as well. Let me know if you get it and results.

Do it the natural way, give time & it will happen. Seeding it works great.

I've used it successfully and my once barren dry rock is now covered with different shades of purple coraline algae.

Always buy Jerry Heslinga coraline stuff.You get a few sheets of coraline algae that you place in your tank. If you maintain proper levels and have good lighting boom you have coraline algae like crazy. Just ask my wife.
This bottled stuff is not as good as adding live growing algae from a Coral farm.

I have used the purple helix. I have one of the reviews on Amazon. It did work, however, I let my persmiters slip. I would buy it again but I'm also not oppose to new options .
