Coraline Algae Question

Setting up my tank again Red Sea 425XL after about a month of being dry. The back is about 75% covered with coraline algae (or used to be). Should I remove it or is it fine to leave? Advantages or disadvantages.

Fine to leave. It may flake off but if no harm

Also gives some corals a better 'foothold' to grow on, vs glass.

I personally would remove it since it is now dead and most likely white. It will flake off over time.
