Coraline Algae turning white

While coralline exists in a variety of colors, changing to white usually means that it's dying/dead. Have you had any parameter swings? It could also be a rapid change in lighting if you've changed lights or bulbs.

Your more then likely very low on your trace supplements....maily ALK.
Ah ok Well i was having problem with Alk a couple days ago it was around 6 so for the last 2 days its at 8 right now trying to keep it around that

A 15 gallon WC will not have a big effect on your 120 gallon.
I do small WC like three times a week 10 gallon on my 202.

Now if im wanting to change out 15 gallons of water and my tank alk is at 8 and the newly fresh is at 12,will it be ok or do I need somehow to get the alk in the new to be around 8
Your fine doing this, it won't harm anything. Its not enough to put a dent in your numbers.

Only need to wait about 30mins to an hour to check, the number will come up quickly. Why not dose Baking Soda to get the number up?

I did the past couple days and it went from 6 to 8 in 2 days, some people said that was to fast..

Na, thats not bad at all. 1Dkh a day is fine. If you want it slower than that, mix up a batch in a 5g bucket, mix it a bit high, then add a gallon or 2 a day. That'll bring it up slow.

Holy Crap!! Got an LFS near by to have it checked out? Then you can go by the numbers that are closest to whichever test kit you have.

heres my test results Hanna 7.3 Red Sea 9.0 API 8.8 Seems like the Hanna is way behind all the time but the corals look really good right now with all poylps extending out ..

Check your mag and ca as well. Coralline grows best in reef conditions. Stability of the 3 elements is key, as it is with coral.
