Check out reefcleaners. He sells invertebrates and other types of stuff. Some of the snails he sent me had coralline on their shells and it would also help you pick up a clean up crew for cheaper as well. I want to say he sells a pack for like 25 and that includes shipping. I've been using that for my 40b and honestly probably more snails than I needed or wanted.

Well I picked up a small piece I'm gonna crack it in half to glue my radioactive dragon eye frag on and then scrape the rest into the tank. That might help

My tank is over a year old now and I still can't get coralline to grow. IMO just don't worry about it. Cover your rocks with coral instead.

Cause I really like the look of it and I don't mind cleaning it. I had a tank in the mid 90's and I just have always loved that look since then.

I remember the days of chasing the coralline algae. It usually will come when you stop trying. No kidding. My current tank has been up for a couple years and up until about four months ago, it only had some on the live rock. Now I am scrapping constantly to keep it off the glass. I've been keeping reef tanks for about 15 years and this one usually comes down to patience. However, it is necessary to have something in the tank that has some on it. Lying in wait, until the conditions are right. Then, Bam! you will be buying some scrappers if you still want to be able to see into the tank. Good luck.

I don't like the look of a pristine clear tank I like my tank to look like it's lived in. Just keeping the sides and front clear. I really enjoy it for me it's relaxing.

Out of nowhere light lavender coraline covering the bottom of BB tank also on my bonsai tree sculpture pink coraline. KZ booster and FW Stop probably had something to do with it. Whatever is in that stuff corals love it.
