Is this coraline algae! I was positive it was and then I got into a rabbit hole and idk! My main concern is the green and I just want to make sure it’s not a problem

Don't think so.... how old is the tank? Is it on your powerheads and glass?

Rocks will change all kinds of colors and algae is normal, never something to freak out over.

TBH is looks like a light coating of cyano to me. I can see slight discoloration on the sand as well I think

the stuff on the glass and rocks are all encrusted on. its not like its a slime residue I can't reach the sand to feel it cause the water will overflow my tank

Cyno, a Soft Toothbrush will Scatter it. Coraline, a Soft Toothbrush will not appear to touch it. But, it will start to spread afterwards, in a week or two, after hitting it with a Toothbrush.

I'd vote coraline... that stuff has to be "chiseled" off although I would absolutely not try to remove it... brush it like Steve said and you'll end up like .... (and this is after de-coraline-ing the filter body which I won't do again until clogging occurs)
