I have a Coraline question. Tank is a RSM130D ( 29 gal biocube ) running about 5 months. Mixed reef. Coraline introduced about 2 months ago off of a LSF frag. Has grown pretty well.

My question is looking at the pictures. Some areas are purpleish as expected but some while purple underneath are looking more brownish on top.

I went through two diatom outbreaks in first 45 days but since then no real issue.

Is the coraline just going through a cycle or do I have another diatom outbreak ( which I didn’t think could grow on top of coraline )

Thanks for your feedback…

Floss in overflow to skimmer to more floss to carbon to ceramic back to tank with 2 Ocellaris clowns, 1 GakGak Goniopora and a couple of Zoa's...
