anybody have a suggestion on if coralline grows better in dark or intense light and what about sun light.please share experiences

i have more coraline growing on the back of my tank and in high flow areas, i think its grows based on your parameters- highly calcium and mag grows more and faster. just my experience.

Mine did nothing for a whole year, I got LED's and I kept my Mag up and my coraline has gone crazy in the past 2 months, I put some super glue epoxy JB water weld on some hydros to kill them and it even grew over that in places. IME it takes your tank time to mature, once it does the stuff takes off. That might not be the case for everyone but it was for me. Just my 2 cents

My tank has seen no seen any coraline. Though the one on the rock is still there and has not gone away a bit. Been around 5 months.

I have very thick purple coraline growing in a couple spots that the sun hits directly. It creeps through the blinds in the early morning.
