I think I found a good size rock dose it need any specific growing conditions

I'm assuming you mean you found a rock with coralline on it and want it to spread? In that case all you really need is your calcium levels to be where/or close to where they are supposed to be. It's not a fast growth either haha. Takes some time but will grow and spread.

It looks like this 20160314_010559-1.jpg

You can put that in your tank no problem. Let me ask you this, you seem to be using rock you find at the beach, and you were also asking about natural seawater in your other post, so my question is, what part of the country are you in? Because you can definitely do a native tank! I used to have a few, all the water and fish and everything inside the tank was from the ocean:) only downside to that is, that if you collect some ocean water depending on where you get it from it could have pollutants in it. But no cycling necessary

I'm from Texas I wish I could do a all natural tank but to get actual clean water I would have to Trave to crystal beach wich is 3hrs from my house

I see. Do you have a local fish store in your area?

Well from what I can see in your other posts, you are off to a good start. Ask any questions you have along the way:) and again, welcome to reef2reef:D also be sure to start a thread on your tank as well if you feel up to it;)
