So I'm buying a used xorallife dual t5 fixture. Any idea how long fixtures last before going bad?

Also can I use different brand t5 lights in different brand fixtures?

You can use different brand t5 bulbs. The bulbs last 8-12 months sometimes less depending on how long you have them on everyday. Id probably replace the bulbs when you get it. What size tank is this going on?

Everything fails eventually
