Hello. A couple weeks ago I redid the rock scape in my tank. While gluing the rocks together I pushed my lights back out of the way and without really thinking exposed the coralline algae on my back glass to the light close up while being out of the water for a extended period of time. The coralline on my back glass bleached and is white.
My question is, is it dead or will it regain its color? I have read both ways depending on what you look at. Also if its dead should I scrap it off and remove it or should I leave it as is and new coralline will grow over it? is there pros or cons to either?
