Morning all. was wondering if anyone has used the coralline algae in a bottle with a semi established reef tank.. if this already has a thread I apologize in advance.. thanks!

I have not used it. After plenty of research, I had planned on using Arcreef's product if necessary. One CUC order for Reef Cleaners ended up providing all the coralline I needed to seed my tank. Obviously, there is no guarantee you will get a snail with coralline on it, but I feel like there's a decent chance.

I did, didn't see any effects, but I had delays before adding. When the bottle says to add within 7 days (if I remember right), they mean seven days. Since I've heard of good results with bottle coralline I'm going to assume it was my error. Just a heads up....

This is supposedly a live coralline product? It sounds plausibly useful if so, but I’ve not seen anyone post comments.

When I was researching, people who purchased the product claimed an actual piece or pieces of coraline came in the bottle. Though there were some that said they didn't see any visible chunks of coraline, so I think there was some confusion there, iirc.

I used purple helix by arc a few months after I set up my 90. It worked great. Tons of coralline within 2-3 months after dosing.

I added some of the pink and purple live coralline algae kit from algae barn about 2 weeks ago. The bottle definitely had pieces of coral one in it. They even give you a bottle brush to help loosen any attached pieces to the bottle. I will monitor and see if I have any success.
