Wasn't really striving or waiting for some pink algae to show up....but was actually kind of excited when I spotted a bunch of spots on the wall and a patch on one of my rocks today!

Hopefully it will take over all the ugly green algae covering all of my rocks!

I guess this means water quality is heading to a decent coral supporting chemistry! :)

Congrats! Did you add any coralline algae additive or seed it? Started with dry rock?

It was really exciting the 1st time we saw coraline in our tanks :)

What numbers do you try to hold your alk, cal, and mag?

Yes you are going in the right direction....................Wait until its all over your glass then it becomes a love/hate relationship

@Jaebster - We didn't add anything...we do have a Turbo Snail thats covered in it though... Started with mostly Life Rock and a couple Live Rocks and Live Sand.

@MERKEY - I have only tested my levels of Alk, Cal and Mag once... Tank is young and initially I was only monitoring Ammonia Nitrite/Nitrate PH etc...
