So i asked my LFS about a mushroom issue I was concerned with and I showed him a tank pic. His eyes nearly popped as he exclaimed, how the heck are cultivating such a profound growth of coralline algae. Me: wait... you're saying that stuff is a good thing? I scrape it off and flush it... thats how I "cultivate" it. So he advises I should see if any local aquarist are wanting some - I could sell "frags" of it. What would someone pay for such an item? I really had no clue it was of any value.

Well… Algaebarn sells “bottled pink and purple Coralline algae” for $44.

Never thought of it, i let my back wall get covered and all my rocks but scrape my sides and front glass.

One of the mysteries in this hobby. Despite having the same parameters corraline won't grow in one tank and is a pest in others.
