My tank seems to be cycling along pretty well. It's been about 6 weeks now. The nitrates are finally starting to drop to 10. Ammonia and nitrite are at zero. My question is can coralline algae be white? I have some very white growth showing up on my live rock. It's looks to be encrusting the rock like I assume coralline algae would do. Here is a picture.

This last picture is a close up of the growth. Or is this something else?

Thanks for the help,
Neil

Keep an eye on it to see if its actually growing. It looks liked dead coralline algae to me.
