Bought a used tank. Trying to get it off the overflow. Its a 34 gallon deep blue. I have let a towel soak in vinegar for a while. I can't get it off. Will it hurt to leave it?

normally a vinegar soak along with a razor blade will take it off. If not I would imagine once you get the tank going it will lose its coloration and start to disappear.

Thanks. That's what i thought. It was really on there. Just really didn't want to take a razor blade to the over flow.
