I've just noticed that a lot of the rocks in my aquarium that were dry and showed no pink algae on them are starting to pick up some pink and purple spotted areas. I did put in a piece of live rock that had coralline algae on it so in thinking it may have spread. If so is this fast, as my tanks only been up and running for a month now. Just hoping I'm not battling any other concerning things, as you can see form the photos that I somehow got bryopsis but thankfully added in fluconazole for treatment a couple days ago. But based on the photos does this look coralline algae starting on all my rocks now?

Sorry ist kind of hard to see in the photos due to the bryopsis having its way with my tank. It's almost appearing on all the white rocks in more of a circle-ish shape here and there

hard to tell. if it's soft and blows away or scrapes off easily, then it's cyano. If it's hard and does not blow away easily then corraline.

my guess it corraline but I've been wrong many times.

Thanks. Yeah, its just tiny round patches coming on the rocks recently. I just dosed fluconazole a couple days ago to rid the bryopsis so i'm not sure if its related to that or not. But for sure one of the live rocks I added had a ton of purple coralline on it

Well hopefully the bryo will finally go away and the coralline can come in so I can get around to finally stocking my tank lol. Thanks guys
