I have a decent amount of what looks to be coralline violet or blue to me. It is a pale color compared to the dep pinkisk coralline that i have. It is mainly on the return and not where else. It seems to be thinner or less dense than the pink variety i have.

Is this a sign of some lack of elements or does this sound like a this is a true color of coralline?

Or i could be colorblind and confusing purple and blue...

I will post a picture when the lights come on tomorrow.

Hi,

To answer the question in general without picture for ID, coralline can have different colors and growth patterns. it can look pinkish, purplish or other shades like that. If it is hard and encrusting than most likely it is Coraline . A pic will help for sure
