hey everyone, just wanted to ask if anyone could help identify what this growth on my rock is. I did notice some die off after the rocks were transferred during a move, is it possible it will bounce back and regrow if it is coralline algae? Thanks in advance !!

I'm not sure exactly what you have, but it is not coralline algae. Coralline is a very hard plating algae. This looks more like a red turf algae to me.

I agree. +1 for red turf algae. Tough stuff. I have a green version that my Scarlet Hermits seem to like it, although they don't eliminate it. I'd suspect a nutrient spike or mini-cycle considering you say it showed up after a move.
