Hi everyone,
I was wondering if someone could identify this yellow growth I'm starting
to see. Is it coralline, or something I need to be concerned about?
My tank is about 6 months old. Started with Marco rock (dead).
Thanks in advance

Not sure what the yellow stuff is, but the pink stuff may be coraline algae.

I just recently upgraded to a Kessil ap700 from 3 T5's and the coralline is taking off. however today is when I noticed the Yellow stuff

Any advice as to what to watch for with this yellow growth? and what to do with it, should it continue to grow?

I don't have any yet after 10 months so I wouldn't know
If you are going to the Reef Experience frag show in Nov let me know, I will gladly give you a bunch of it, it is growing all over my sand.

I have yellow Coraline, it’s actually said to be harder to have (more rare than purple or pink) cuz it is more likely to be green never yellow. A More established Reef tank, (but my tank has been running for only 3 years)
It glows so beautifully in my tank on the rock! I even have friends and family say if it’s a coral!
Very clear picture you can see the bright gold yellow reflective Coraline.
