A great start is to go to a lfs with a razor scraper and offer to clean some off the glass in return you keep it. Or ask for a chunk and they will most likely be happy to bust some off for you.Does anyone have any shells or something with coralline algae on it that you would sale me?
Good point. I never introduced coraline on purpose, it probably hitchhiked on a frag or snail and now its popping up on my pumps and rocks. Why? You will get coraline growth naturally. It will be introduced with snails, frags, rock rubble, etc. Eventually, you may come to see it as a nuisance, it grows so fast in my tank that I have to clean my pumps almost monthly to keep the flow from diminishing too much.
Yeah, it finds it's way in. I starts growing very slowly and then almost like magic, it covers EVERYTHING! Then you are constantly fighting to keep it at bay.Good point. I never introduced coraline on purpose, it probably hitchhiked on a frag or snail and now its popping up on my pumps and rocks.
