Coralline algae

Hi, all. Our Red Reefer 170 has been up and running for about 10 months, but so far no sign of coralline algae. I just ordered a bottle of "coralline in a bottle," but the reviews I've read vary and I'm not sure it'll work.

Does anyone have experience with either of these products? Is it worth the $$ to buy the cultures from Indio Pacific? My LFS just did a full renovation and there's really not much coralline in any of their tanks, yet. They said they'll happily share some scrapings when they have some, but I'm impatient.

I used purple helix when my tank first started. If I remember correctly I have to say it took quite a while for it to start growing in my tank. My guess is that it was more my tank settling in than whether or not the product works. I'm sure it does. Hang in there nothing good happens fast.
