I've been wanting to seed my tank with coralline, but I'm not sure where to get any. Ive heard people say get a snail with coralline on its shell to seed the tank, but all the snails and crabs at my LFS always have clean shells. Does anyone here know any good sources to get coralline scrapings or covered shells?
Thanks!

Do you have a reefer friend that lives nearby?

I have plenty to share.

Columbia where, SC? I can't stop coraline from growing in my tank. I have plenty of shells that is covered in coraline.

Also, during a live sale, I asked, and @TopShelfAquatics sent me some of their scrapings from their tank.

Although there are milky additives for this, having good light-calcium-flow will spawn coralline

+1 on this advice. I started a new tank with plenty of coralline on live rock about a year ago. A few months in, and the coralline appeared on the power heads and pump inlets first, then spread to the glass, overflow, new rocks, etc.
