Update - appears the coralline has appeared on the front glass! Don’t mind the tank currently conducting water changes every week to remove the ugliness. I was didn’t conduct water changes as I should’ve. The tank is 7 months old. Best way to remove it I want it only on the back glass and rocks?

Hard plastic scraper, or one of the scrapers that has a razor blade will take it right off.

7 months is a good time - tank should be in good shape...

When you get it as small spots, it is softer than if you let is spread. Scrape it early and often for easiest results. Different colors/kinds are easier to scrape than others. Purple is easy... so is pink but few have it. The dark burgundy, green and black/brown can get really tough. It is all bad if you let it go too long.

With coralline algae taking hold, have a good plan for you carbonate, calcium and maybe magneisum... they can use up a lot.
