Small green and purple dots everywjere in the rocks.

I’m in the middle of a gha outbreak after Dino’s and I have a couple areas that are gha free and the rocks are covered in this.

Unfortunately can't tell anything from that pic. Please take clear pic under white light and how old is the tank? Coralline typically starts on plastic parts long before rocks like powerheads.

Tank is 4 months old. Just did an algae removal. I can take a clearer pic in the morning I guess.

I can't tell but coralline does typically show up after GHA battle if conditions are good and usually the tank has been seeded in some fashion. Like I mentioned before you usually see coralline on plastic parts first like powerheads.

I scrub my powerheads in citric acid weekly.

If you're seeing hard purple spots on things, that's probably coralline.

I guess I will know in a couple weeks because whatever it is has exploded but they are pinhole purple and green dots

If it doesn't blow or scrub off easily then it is probably coralline.

looks like typical new tank green algae to me
