So I just realized that I have Coralline everywhere in my tank. I see a large growth of it on one rock and small growths all over the place including next to corals on their frag plates. Is this a bad thing? Should I be trying to get rid of some of it? Or is it ok to be that much?

Other than maintenance (scraping off glass/equip) it is a good thing. Generally nuisance algae will not grow on top of so good to have on surfaces.

So it won’t hurt or disrupt the growth of my coral? That’s probably my only concern.

No. It will not grow on healthy(live) coral. If you get dead spots it will grow there. It is one of benefits of it. Something like hair algae will not usually grow on live coral either but when it grows right next to it then it can irritate/crowd out coral because it gets long. With corraline it just cover surfaces around coral and makes it harder for more bothersome algae to hurt coral.

Other thing to mention is it does suck up calcium/alk so depending on how fast it is growing and your water change habits you may want to look into dosing if you are bot already

I am not vcurrently dosing because my cal and alk levels are usually exactly where they should be but ill start keeping an eye on it to see if its getting low then ill start dosing. thanks for the advise

I have actually heard that corals prefer to attach to Coralline over bare rock, though I do not remember where I read this.
