I have 4 scolys and 3 of them always puff up every day, but one hasn’t been puffing up as much lately and I noticed this on the side of it.
Is it coralline or something else, and should I remove it?

The skeleton looks like it has been showing for sometime hence why theres now coralline algae growing over the edges of the exposed skeletal mass.

I have never been successful in getting this type of coraline to stop growing over slower growing coral.

So should I just leave it? This pic was early morning with the lights off, the skeleton doesn’t usually show during the day with lights on.

Yes- looks like coralline growth. It is likely upsetting/stressing coral. While you may be able to peel it off carefully. if attached to tissue can cause further damage.
Safest is to temporarily reduce CA levels, reduce light which supports coralline or add a tuxedo urchin to eradicate it

How much should the CA be reduced to?

My calcium is around 450

My calcium is around 450
Thats close to my level . Reduction reduces support of coralline growth and survival- It will also affect desired coralline growth within tank.
