Hello! im starting up a 90 gal fish only tank. I like the way dry rock looks, just being basic white. I know through out time it will grow Coralline. Is there a way to prevent that? or do I need it for my tank to be successful. or could I use artificial rock?

I am pretty sure that it would be impossible to keep rocks or any surface in contact with water and light from growing something. Along with the rocks, the aquarium glass is going to get rough looking without regular maintenance.
