For the past month my corals in an 8 month old tank have been shriveled. One by one they are all starting to deteriorate.

Parameters all check out. Salinity 1.025, alk 8.3, phosphate. 02, nitrate 5. I use rodi water and reef crystals.

Ive done 25% water changes with no impact.

In the pictures you can see the acan all deflate in bottom right. Antheilia top right basically dead. Pulsing xenia on left are elongated but the pulsers are shrunken.

Picture 2 the Duncan isn't extending. Same with hammer.

The only thing I can think of is the brown stuff on the sand which goes away when I mix but comes back.

Research dinos and keep your fingers crossed. Good luck

And, yes, dinos can thrive even with your parameters.

What is the brown stuff?
Having same issue, with corals shrinking and use reef crystals with RO water.

The sand appears to be covered with cyano....normally caused by excessive nutrients built up in the sand/rock along with low flow. Tank appears to need a good cleaning.

Perhaps a flow issue. I’m pretty new myself in reef terms, but dialing in my flow helped my corals and build up around the tank tremendously.
