hey guys! I've been wondering what are good starter corals and what about anemones I thought I'd start the thread to help other new people to. Any info about corals and anemones are greatly appreciated thanks!

Anemones are for more stable and aged tanks as they can be very touchy. Personally I had a condy when I first started but theyre not really recommended host anemones as they have a much more powerful sting and can eat small fish.

As for corals I'd say leathers are good to start with. Things like kenya tree, green star polyps, xenia, and even some zoas or polys can be very invasive and spread quickly to a point theyre almost like a pest. If you'd like I can post a few photos of my favorite leathers so you can kind of see variety. :)

If theyre doing fine you could also prolly try a hammer or frog spawn as they can be very hardy

This is a wide range of different hammers you can get(bottom right corner is a torch coral)
