Anemones are for more stable and aged tanks as they can be very touchy. Personally I had a condy when I first started but theyre not really recommended host anemones as they have a much more powerful sting and can eat small fish.
As for corals I'd say leathers are good to start with. Things like kenya tree, green star polyps, xenia, and even some zoas or polys can be very invasive and spread quickly to a point theyre almost like a pest. If you'd like I can post a few photos of my favorite leathers so you can kind of see variety.
