So I’m going on vacation for a week at the end of the month. Wanted to know if There is anything I should do for my corals. what can I dose it with before I go? Fish will have auto feeder and timer for lights too. I currently have I my tank frogspawn, bubble coral, LTA, zoas, GSP, trumpet, chalice.

Well what do you currently give your corals? If you're like me and spot feed the corals once a week, then you should be fine. Either way, they should be fine. Just feed them back to back days before your trip if you want to be nice and fatten them up :)

zooplankton, phytoplankton, and mysis shrimp bits depending on the coral. thats good i do feed them like every otherday so i thnk they will be ok then. ill feed them everyday the week before i leave and hopefully they will be ok.

I’d have someone come by the house every couple of days, a neighbor or something, just to check up on everything. I left last month and the power went out and that screwed up my lights. Luckily my neighbor caught it when she checked up on my tanks and we were able to sort it out over the phone. It’s also good so you know something didn’t happen and there’s water all over your floor or your skimmer is overflowing the cup. I’d say everything’s gonna be alright, but if you’re on the gulf coast there’s (Hurricane? Tropical Storm?) Hanna coming our way so I’d definitely have someone come over to check on the power. Most of my vacations are a week long and everything has been fine except for an alveopora that fell into a hammer and got killed. I do have someone come over every 2 days to feed the fish though cause they absolutely refuse to eat pellets of any kind. :) good luck and have fun on your vacation!!

I think they'll probably be fine. A week shouldn't impact them. Maybe have a person come by once if possible.
I am having my parents.....get my mail so Ill have them check lol send me a picture coz i know they wont know what to look for lol.

The corals will be fine without food, they are all photosynthetic and will make it from light. They'll get some food from the autofeeder as well.

Agree with having someone stop by to make sure the power is on, floors are dry, so on.
