Hello,
I’m super new to reef tanks, and I’ve had my first set up for about 6 months now. When I arrived home today, I noticed that all of my corals were closed and/or colored down, my Haitian pink tip
Anemone had moved to the back of the tank, and there was a stringy slime where it used to be. I immediately tested the water (with quick test strips to get a general idea, I had to leave for work) and everything is testing normally. Ammonia is 0, nitrates are low, but present, nitrite is 0. What would cause this? I just glued some of my Zoas last night with Loctite Super Glue Gel (read online that it was safe) and now all of a sudden everything looks a mess. I forget the names of them, but a couple of my corals were electric green when I left my house about 6 hours ago, and now they’re brown/gray. I’ve attached pictures. I’m going to do a water change when I get home tonight, but I’m hoping everything doesn’t die in the mean time. Any ideas?
