To keep it short, I started a fluconzole treatment for the second time around to eliminate bryopsys 3 weeks ago. This time I used half the recommended dose, turned the skimmer back on after 1 day left the Phosgaurd and purigen in the sump and removed the gac. After 6 days all visible signs of bryopsys were gone. The thing that’s got me confused is all my corals seem to have really colored up especially the acro’s in these last few weeks. I haven’t put the gac back in and have not done a water change to remove the meds, so is it possible that the 3 weeks without gac would be a reason for the corals coloring up more? Gonna probably go another week or two before I put the gac back in and do a water change so hopefully this time it doesn’t come back.

Phosphates and nitrates have remained the same, phosphates .01-.03 and nitrates 5 to 15. Alk i keep between 7.5-8. I have alot of fish and feed them well so i really never add any coral foods. Only algae issues really was the dang bryopsis. I dose nopox to keep the phos and nitrates in check. I did mention I have alot of fish, and alot of different corals.

Just wanted to post a few pics of the incresed coloration in all the corals over the last few weeks. I took these pics with the whites turned all the way up on my kessils using my cell phone camera and no filters or doctoring of photos, im just trying to grasp what exactly is the reason for the dramatic change in my eyes. Sorry for the clown trigger photo bomb;)
