Let me start with a positive. I ordered 3 corals from them that arrived early the week of Christmas. The corals were wonderful and to date growing well. Outstanding packaging and customer service. I had a question regarding placement of one item and received an answer very quickly. Great price for shipping, only $25 being the order was under $150.

Fast forward to last night. Shipping under $150 is now $35 and the kicker is a $10 box charge on all orders. So much for being the low cost leader for shipping. Sorry to see the price increase, but I guess it was bound to happen.

We're seing similar increses in shipping costs over here in the UK; inflation hits everyone and in the end, its the end consumer who pays the price.

Oh yeah, I knew it was only a matter of time. Inflation has taken a big bite out of my budget.

I try to support the LFS as much as possible, sometimes it's just not practical. What I mean, we see ads all over the place to shop local,(I mean all things not just aquarium related items), but when you look at what's stocked...What goes thru my mind...what they are really saying is, Don't buy what you want, buy what we have and like it.

A lot of these online companies are also local fish stores.

Sadly it is just the nature of the world we live in right now, hopefully, one day we can see prices start to drop instead of rising haha.
