A 1.3 drop in alkalinity is a little bit extreme. What are you using to maintain alkalinity in your tank? And did you check the alkalinity in your new water prior to water change? Many salt brands don't mix that high

best thing with a tank fulla stix is stability. always suppliment your water change water to the same parameters as your tank. temp as well. and ensure your dosing is consistant if manual. preferably automatic in small incriments through out the day.

Sorry to see your troubles. Been there. It sucks. The alk swing was a bit extreme. Do you typically keep salt at 1.024?
