ugh..

My tank is about 3 months old, I do 10% water changes each week. The parameters are in line, I have also had my LFS check my water and they get the same parameters. They are slowly disappearing, not sure what to do.

I have some fish, 2 clowns, 3 blue/green chromis, tiger pistol shrimp and yellow watchman goby.

zoa's, Hammer Coral, Pocillipora Coral, Ricordea, Bubble Tip Anemone, paly, Green Star Polyps

the paly looks great, the zoas are wasting away, the bubble tip anemone has a big black spot in the middle, he did take food tonight.

Also what are your
parameters, your lighting water flow how much high or little, and thing you notice since you added something new etc.

Can you give us a full run down of your setup like equipment? Can you also post some pics? Also, can you post the actual parameters and the test kit used? I know you said they are in line, but sometimes it can help get all the minds thinking as to what the issue is.

+1 on Krista's questions above, pics would also be very helpful. 3 Months is still very new and unstable for Corals, unless everything ie" LR, substrate and some old water were used. Do you dose anything ???

Cheers, Todd

so its ok to dip more than the initial dipping prior to placing in the tank. I just started adding Ca
protein skimmer, refugium, hob filter, LED lights, two kuniza pumps, 3in sand/crushed bed

IMO a protein skimmer that is overpowering is going to clean the water too much for zoa/palys . They usually like dirtier water in a sense. I would dip the coral. What skimmer are you using?

+1 on dipping your corals. I dip all my new corals in an iodine solution like Tropic Marine Pro Coral Cure. The iodine helps prevent/cure things like brown jelly disease and also kills many unwanted hitchhikers too.
