Oh no - I think I’ve got a killer critter.

I was stupid & took a couple of plate corals from a friend’s tank, didn’t dip them. Dumb, dumb, I know. As I’m putting one in I spot a red flatworm in the transport container. I hauled out the coral & tossed it in QT. Dipped them in flatworm exit several times. Pretty sure I didCoral rx too, but can’t swear to the memory. Anyway, that was about 6 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago I had a huge birds nest up & die. Not brown jelly, but the flesh dies at one end & swept the entire thing. Now I’m losing an encrusting rainbow monti. At first I blamed both on a wandering nem but today I spotted tiny, speedy little bugs zipping around on the tiny piece of birdsnest I had left. They don’t look like flatworms, & they’re fast. I’ll try to get a pic, but they’re really tiny. Thoughts???

I thought they looked like normal inhabitants! So, finding them on my dying coral is likely incidental? Could an anemone attack cause the coral to die completely? It was at least the size of both my fists & the nem could only reach a small portion of it, but the die off swept from the area of contact through the entire coral...
