So, I bought a montipora red cap and a green duncan, and did a water change... the next day, my cap is turning white and my torch coral just melted.... i thi nk due to some chemical warfare between my palys and my new duncans.... can anyone let me know if these corals are gonna be goners?

The pictures are the red monti and a torch coral

They are not looking great. The Monti needs very high water quality and stability. Sometimes a shop will sell you a torch that has come away from it's skeleton. Hard to say in your case. Do you have other healthy SPS corals in your tank?

How long has your tank been running?

Water parameters?

Source water?

Something is way off to have them go south so quickly.

Never lost any corals before.... i did a water change and all parameters are in check.... i think my palys relesed som toxins fighting the new duncans i bought....
Ran some carbon too...

For the monti to pass that fast, there is some major water chemistry difference between your water and that of the LFS.

Salinity (calibrated refractometer) and Alkalinity are the primary parameters to check first.

Nitrate & phosphates next (although that would take longer to kill like that).
