Hey folks. So my WB 100.3 mixed reef is approaching its one year anniversary and overall its been a great ride. As with all positives, there's always something to counterbalance that good fortune. I have a number of corals that have grown to the point where they are starting to get very close to each other. Primarily mushrooms (ric's)/zoa/paly, zoa/duncan combo's. The question is whether to start thinking about trimming back or just, as in nature, let them decide how to get along. Thanks for any suggestions

Well there are two possibilities, they can either coexist or one will overrun the other. It depends on how aggressive each one is.

If you have particular ones you like you could try to take steps to separate them or frag a piece off to ensure it survives, otherwise could just let things take their course.

Thanks - I'm kinda from the school of just let them figure it out. At least thats what my Dad always told me :)

Thanks again
