Corals fell in my laplap

For now I would just let the coral acclimate for week, keep chemistry in check and think about ultimate placement.

You've acquired some great corals that will do fine once acclimated.

Yes you can remove, snap, cut the dead skeleton off the Duncan piece, but for now I would just the corals acclimate.

yes mine is green, i took all my pics later at night too so its all blues too. it just seems like a much different coral from the naked eye. ill see if i can get a clearer true picture. although i should just be patient as i had what i thought was just purple dried up leafy things. i text my buddy who i got them from and he said green start polyps. and sure enough in a few hours they starting popping out. amazing stuff.

Excellent thanks for the info, the unsightly things like the dead duncan pieces i just want to get out. but i will wait another week as suggested.

The leather one, like Broccoli, could be a green nepthea, maybe, have to wait until it opens up to know.

yours is different than what im looking at, they both look like brocolli, what im trying to identify is definately green. i just have to get a pic where you can see it clearly. Mine is not so much branching like yours its more of 1 larger branch going into a much more full top.

I am tempted to say Stylophora again but it could very well be a Pocillopora Damicornis. Both are SPS (small polyp stony corals). The growth pattern looks a lot like Pocillopora, and the coloration sounds right if there is green coloration, but I have seen very similar Stylophora that grew like that under diminished flow.

Care is the same for both, acclimate them to your lighting, mod to higher flow, maintain consistent Ca/Alk and Mag levels.

Pocillopora is the hardier of the two and can even become invasive.

Time will tell.

Thanks, i know this thread is all over the place. I adjusted my lights to the acclimation mode so hopefully the bleached out pieces are ok. i need to move them to the proper places. i just wish i could easily remove the polpys off the rock that have the acans on it, so the acan had more room to grow by itself. i have a few pieces of rock that just have polyps on it as well as other coral. sort looks jumbled.

So the coral i have Inherited have been in the tank for a few weeks. New things are popping up. Things are opening more etc. With this said. What would this little tree like thing be? There are 3.

Hey guys been a while. Trying to get all these coral healthy again. However I can't seem to get this fully green. The tips are nice green but the base is white ad can be. Is this salvageable ?any recommendations?
