Hello everybody! I would like some recommendations for some hardy corals for my trigon190. The tank is cycled and ready for fish . I already added 3 hermit crabs and 2 shrimps.

Is there a reef light on this tank?

Have you done any reading on which type of corals your interested in? Its generally suggested to wait a few months for the tank to mature before adding corals.

Mojo is right; how old is your tank? Wait til it is established before adding coral. Whenever your tank is good and established I would start with easy to keep corals: Toadstools, zoas, duncans, mushrooms, and candy canes to name a few

Most softies are pretty easy. I would just pick one or two you like and see how they do. Typically most softies are easy but for years I couldn't keep zoas or gsp alive that's why I suggest some tester corals to see how they do for you.

EDIT : Some easy coral can become invasive over time. Just something to keep in mind when choosing.

Thank you!! I was thinking zoas too, but I think I will go for kenya tree, and some mushroom. :)

Zoas may do good for you. It was years ago when I tried them and I never did figure out why I couldn't keep them. They sure can add a nice splash of color. There are some pretty nice mushrooms too. I have a few bright orange ones. Good luck with what ever you choose and keep us updated.
