Corals for nutrient export

Is it possible to just have corals only strictly for nutrient export? Like no macros, phosguard, CPE, etc. If my nitrates are slightly elevated... would adding a few decent sized frags slowly bring those number downs?

Look into pulsing xenia...lots have reported success.
Or my favorite, pacific oysters

I'd think that Kenya Trees would fit the bill. Mine has tripled in size since I bought it two months ago.

No I'm not looking for anything specific. I was just wondering if this concept would be possible to pull off.
