Hello! I did a Rally Pro course in my DT over the weekend, and have since done a 10% water change and put carbon (in the form of Chemi-Pure Blue) into the tank. I've had a few corals that were quite happy through the entire procedure that have suddenly closed up. Anyone know if Rally Pro degrades into something I need to be a little more aggressive about removing?

Phosphates 0, Nitrates 0, PH 8.1ish. I keep mostly softies (mushrooms, toadstools, etc) so I am also thinking that maybe they are unhappy about the Chemi-Pure refresh sucking out phosphates at a greater rate than normal

Thanks!

They respond to rally at times and quickly bounce back- it’s the formalin in it
What test kits are you using?

API test kits. It's only been a couple days -- I am trying to decide if I should gear up for another water change, or just let everything settle down

The grumpy ones are an encrusting gorgonian and two toadstools

The funny thing is that the unhappy corals are all in the same part of the aquarium

An interesting development. I did a follow up prazipro dose today just to be sure I got stragglers and now corals and my clam are opening up for the first time since before the rally treatment.

*shrug*
